RAIN® funds (Regional Angel Investment Network)

Rain® Source Capital is a multi-state network of RAIN® funds (Regional Angel Investment Network) that works with acredited individual and institutional angel investors who are interested in supporting growing compainies. RAIN® Source helps bring togther like-minded angel investors to form individual RAIN® funds - and then provides these funds with a  process for due diligence, legal templates, management support, access to deal flow and other resources. RAIN® funds share expertise, deals and experience among RAIN® Source Capital's multi-state network to support growing companies throughout the area.

The RAIN® Network consists of 23 funds in six states (MN, SD, ND, IA, MT, ID). Individual funds are able to share or syndicate deals with the entire network providing leverage and access to a large amount of investment capital for its local company. The SDSU/Brookings Angel Fund, LLC, is one of these RAIN® funds and is located in Brookings, SD. The Enterprise Institute is the Certificed RAINMaker® for South Dakota and is responsible for organizing and servicing these funds.
